Why I Built Confidence Vault
“I live alone in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, while most of my family lives in Canada. One day I realized something that I couldn’t stop thinking about… If something happened to me, how long would it be before someone noticed?”
My Story
Confidence Vault began with one simple question:
If something happened to me, would anyone know?
I live independently and enjoy that freedom. But my family lives in another country, and like many people, I realized there wasn’t a simple way for someone to know if I needed help.
A few weeks after launching Confidence Vault, I unexpectedly found myself in the hospital with a serious bacterial infection and acute kidney injury. Thankfully, I’m recovering well, but the experience reinforced exactly why I built this.

It’s about putting a quiet safety net in place so the people you trust aren’t left wondering what happened or what to do next.
